Introduction to Esoteric Meditation
The focus of this talk is on the nature and importance of esoteric meditation.
The distinction between "meditation with seed" and "meditation without seed"
will be highlighted, as well as the five steps that govern esoteric meditation.
Also discussed will be information on the use of the "sacred word" and its meditative
application in the soul's creative efforts (magic). Toward the end of the talk,
time will be set aside for participates to begin to experience this form of

Introduction to the Seven Rays This presentation
is an introduction to the Seven Rays of Divine Manifestation. According to the
ancient Esoteric Philosophy, all of creation comes into being via the interaction
of seven great streams of energy (Rays). These Rays condition all life upon
Earth, and every human being is subject to their influence. From a spiritual
perspective, an understanding of the Seven Rays is crucial, for it is said that
every Soul is found upon one of these divine Rays. To understand one's Soul
Ray is to discover one's essential nature and spiritual purpose in life. In
short, there are seven types of Souls, each having a particular quality seeking

The Flaming Heart Love is the energy that governs
the human soul and its expression. When the heart is filled with love, and wisdom
governs its direction, one's capacity to serve the Larger Whole increases greatly.
Love is rooted in our ability to sense the oneness underlying all things. Yet,
the heart is something that evolves over time, becoming more Christ-like as
one nears enlightenment. The challenge is to rise above sentimentality and to
realize that the heart's highest expression is also the most impersonal. In
this workshop, we will closely examine the nature and evolution of love. Below
are a few (but not all) of the specific themes to be presented and discussed:
* The seven types of souls, and their unique relationship to love
* The evolution
of goodwill, and its transformation into the will-to-good
* How desire masquerades
as love
* Problems that emerge due to the wakening of the heart
* The marriage
of the mind and heart
* Sex, and its relationship to love and mystical yearning

Planetary Evolution and the Origins of Man In the Esoteric Tradition, it
is understood that the planet itself is a living being, sometimes called the
Planetary Logos. Just as with a human being, this great entity is also spiritually
evolving, and doing so over vast periods of time. The focus of this workshop
is to give participants an understanding of the developmental stages of the
Planetary Logos, particularly as this being manifests and evolves through various
kingdoms in nature, including the human kingdom. As such, an understanding of
humanity's evolution, as a part of the evolution of the Planetary Logos, will
be emphasized. The great epochs of humanity's development will be discussed,
including the period associated with life in Atlantis. Held at the Unity Church of Madison,

Behind the Veil ~ Enlightenment can only occur when the many Veils of Illusion
have been recognized and lifted within oneself. When a veil has been transcended,
an expansion of consciousness occurs, and the individual sees reality anew.
From that time forward, life can never be the same. In this workshop, we will
explore the many veils of illusion that prevent us from more fully living the
life of Spirit. From this, we will examine how consciousness is changed when
each veil is lifted, and the methods used to accomplish this.
Specifically,
participants will learn:
* The nature and origin of the Veils of Illusion, and
how they shroud reality
* How the personality creates the distortions that block
the light of the Soul
* The astrological indicators (within one's birth chart)
that uncover the veils of illusion
* Several methods for lifting the veils in
order to live life more abundantly
* The role Initiation plays when various
veils have been transcended

Spiritual Initiation -Milestones to Enlightenment ~ Over the course of many
incarnations, the Soul gains mastery over the personality (lower-self). When
various states of evolution have been reached, the soul can then walk through
the Portal of Initiation. This results in an expansion of consciousness, and
a broadening of spiritual responsibility. Initiation also signifies that various
distortions of the personality have been recognized and transformed. In this
workshop, we will examine the nature of spiritual initiation and the transformations
of consciousness.
Below are a few (but not all) of the specific themes to be
presented and discussed:
* The nature and implications of each of the five initiations.
* The requirements associated with each initiation, from Probationer to Mastership.
* How consciousness is changed as a result of initiation.
* The nature of the
distortions within the personality, and their elimination
* Techniques designed
to transform the personality in preparation for eventual initiation.

For over twenty years, William Meader (author of Shine Forth) has been a student
and teacher of the Esoteric Philosophy. Much of his work has been focused on
the subjects of White Magic, Esoteric Astrology and the Science of the Seven
Rays. He is also an experienced teacher of various meditation practices. At
